We arrive at Marco Polo airport around midnight.can we get water taxi then for 2 people to your hotel then & cost please?

For late arrivals, as in your case, of course we suggest to opt for a private water-taxi: we are happy to help in taking a reservation to be sure to find a boat at the pier. Kind regards Barbara

We would like a quiet stay, but are worried that you offer pub crawls? Also is the water bus stop close by to and from the airport?

We are happy to offer quiet rooms. Our location is perfect: Calle dei Botteri is a a main street but very quiet. We are few minutes far from Rialto Mercato stop.

Are you able to provide a shuttle to the airport for a 6AM Sunday flight? What would the cost be for 2 people?

We would be happy to help you in arranging a early departure booking a private water-taxi (the b&b doesn't have a private boat). Usually the cost for this transfer is about 130/140 euros, depending on the time.

Of course we are happy to keep the luggage at the b&b even after the check-out time. No extra charge is required.

We are in the city-center so, by boat, about 20 minutes far from the cruise terminal. We are happy to arrange a private trasfer service to get to the b&b the cost is about 80 euros otherwise you can opt for the public transport: water-bus line #2 to Rialt

All the rooms are non-smoking, have fully equipped ensuite bathrooms with amenities, individual heating and air conditioning ,king size beds with new memory-foam mattresses, minibar, television, safe, kettle with tea and infusions, free wi-fi.

Professional and friendly service from all staff.Quite knowledgeable and supportive staff.The breakfast was continental, served in a friendly quiet atmosphere .The room facilities were top notch. However the street and hall entrance to the hotel rooms needs sprucing up. An enjoyable stay indeed.

Beautiful, well-appointed, and comfortable stay with friendly employees

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here in the New World room. Check-in was very easy - you'll come to the outside door and press the doorbell and the staff will buzz you in and meet you at the next doorway which is about a floor up. The room was by far the most spacious and pleasant that we had in Italy. The shower/tub was also a surprise because the bathrooms we had prior to this stay only had small showers. I appreciated that we got both shampoo and conditioner (which smell amazing, honestly would like to know where I can buy it!), as some of our prior stays only provided a shampoo/body wash combo. Breakfast was delicious and had croissants, meats and cheeses, yogurt, cereal, and hard-boiled eggs. Sunil made coffee to order as well and it was very good (and appreciated, as coffee in Venice is more expensive than we found in other cities). In the breakfast area (but accessible at all hours) is a water machine with room temp, cold, and sparkling water. The best part of the stay was the staff who were incredibly accommodating. Our best meal we had in Venice was at the recommendation of Sunil - the Osteria Bancogiro, which has beautiful views of the Grand Canal. Barbara arranged for us to take a water taxi back to the airport and was very responsive to my messages. I planned our trip fairly meticulously, but it sounds like if you want some guidance on where to go that Barbara can help you out. The hotel is well-situated for sightseeing. Although it was recommended that we take transport from the train station to the hotel, we ended up walking as we didn't have that much luggage. It was doable but not the most comfortable thing as there are so many bridges with steps to carry your luggage instead of rolling. Overall, this was an amazing place to stay to end our trip and I hope we will come back to Venice and enjoy this place again soon!

I don't have really any complaints about our stay here. The only thing is that I wish we could put a sign on the door to say we didn't want our room to be serviced. We do not speak Italian well, so although we attempted to tell staff that we did not want room service, there was a miscommunication and we still received room service. This was something we encountered at another hotel in Italy, so this is not unique to this stay. A few things to note which may bother other travelers, but did not bother us - the lobby is a few floors above ground level. Barbara met us one floor up and very graciously carried my luggage, so remember that you can always ask for help if needed! A second thing is that the breakfast area is arranged into two large tables rather than smaller tables for individual parties. So you may end up sharing with other travelers, but we enjoyed meeting our neighbors. Third, you will need to turn on lights in the stairways as they are not always on. They are easy to find, so do not worry!

Fantastic place with great staff.

Just got back from 3 Nights at La Villeggiatura, the premises is a B&B as opposed to a hotel, and as described there are a number of flights of stairs to get to the premises which is on the 3rd floor. This is detailed in the description however I am aware some residents commented upon this and queried that there was no lift. This is in the heart of Venice where nearly all the buildings are "listed" and as such cannot have lifts. The stairs were not an issue for us. We were met by Barbara, who was one of the most helpful hosts I have come across. She made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much bother for her. She advised on where to go in Venice where to eat and how to get there, how to use Public transport ie the river busses and where to get to the different routes stops. She even helped us plan our day to visit the the islands of the lagoon Torcello, Burano and Murano and what to do at each island. The room (5) was on the upper floor and was clean, well furnished and well presented. There is no view from the room as it has a skylight, but that wasn't an issue for us we were only in the room to sleep. The bed was very comfortable. A good continental style breakfast was available. The premises is very centrally located only a few minutes walk from the Grand Canal and many other local attractions with a plethora of good bars and restaurants close by.

Clean, good location with very friendly and helpful staff.

The staff were exceptional. The man (unfortunately, we didn’t get is name) went out of his way to help us multiple days.

The only thing we didn’t like was There was a strong fragrance(not bad, just strong and I didn’t prefer it) from some oil sticks.

Very good

The location was perfect - two minute walk from Rialto bridge and a short stroll to St Marc’s. Water bus was nearby and shops and restaurants. The staff was very at tentative and helpful and friendly. The bnb is very cute and typically Venetian. Would recommend

Excellent location. Barbara is very helpful & knowledgeable. She booked restaurants for us & marked a map highlighting routes & waterbus stops.

We had an attic room which was charming but I would book a room on the lower floor next time.

Venice for two

The staff was amazing, Barbara and Somil always helped in everything we needed, it felt like we stayed at someone's house not an hotel. Barbara gave us lists of things to do and where to eat that would be cost efficient and helpful. The place was clean and near everything, and despite being on the third floor with the door hard to see, we still found it great. Breakfast was very mild, as in ham, cheese and bread. There was cereal and eggs. We still loved it but some might think it not too much
